About the Role

We’re looking for a Head of People to help scale Jump through its next phase of rapid growth (100 to 250+). You’ll build and lead all aspects of our People function—from talent acquisition and onboarding to compensation, HR operations, performance management, internal communications, and culture. This is a mission-critical, strategic role that will directly shape Jump’s ability to scale effectively while remaining a world-class place to work.

You’ll work closely with the executive team to make Jump a category-defining company that attracts, retains, and develops top talent—especially in a fast-moving AI and SaaS landscape.

  • Talent Engine & Employer Brand - Build and scale a top-tier talent acquisition strategy, enabling Jump to grow from ~50 to 150+ employees with high bar, high-velocity hiring. Establish Jump’s employer brand in the startup and AI ecosystem.

  • People Systems & Operational Infrastructure - Implement and optimize our HR tech stack (ATS, HRIS, equity management), create scalable processes for onboarding, performance management, leveling, compensation, and compliance.

  • Culture, Leadership, and Org Design - Translate Jump’s values into operating norms and rituals. Drive internal comms, leadership enablement, and team engagement. Design org structures that align with our ambitious growth goals while reinforcing clarity, cohesion, and pace.

  • Build an Exceptional Company - Help Jump stay the category leader, trusted and loved by customers and help build Jump into a career-making, exceptional place to work

About You

  • You are a builder and a scaler. You love crafting people systems (but not overdoing it with too much “policy!”)

  • You want to have real impact helping to build an early-stage AI software company serving financial advisors and other financial services

  • You understand what it means to work at an early stage, rapidly growing tech company and are super excited about the related opportunities and challenges

What You’ve Done

  • Scaled Talent Strategy & Execution in High-Growth SaaS -  You’ve built and led People teams in VC-backed SaaS or tech companies scaling from ~100 to 250+ employees.

  • Implemented and Scaled People Systems & Ops Infrastructure - You’ve designed and optimized the full People tech stack—HRIS (e.g. Rippling), ATS, equity management (e.g. Carta), and performance frameworks. You’ve built systems for onboarding, compensation, levels, compliance, and reviews that scale.

  • Embedded Culture and Internal Communications at Scale - You’ve taken values off the wall and embedded them into daily habits, rituals, and team norms. You’ve owned internal comms, run engagement initiatives, and built leadership alignment in times of scale and change.

  • Been a Strategic, Trusted Partner to Execs - You’ve worked alongside founders and cross-functional execs as a thought partner. You’re data-informed, know how to navigate tough org and performance conversations, and bring a bias toward business impact.

  • Delivered at Startup Velocity - You’ve operated in hypergrowth environments. You move fast with sound judgment, flex between strategy and execution, and take pride in producing high-quality work.

  • Worked with World-Class People and Raised the Bar - You know what “great” looks like because you’ve built alongside top-tier operators… and you are one
