About the Role
Jump is a rapidly scaling company backed by top VCs and trusted by thousands of financial advisors. We're growing quickly and building the infrastructure to support our next stage of growth. We need a hands-on Controller who can own the full accounting function–GL, billing, audit prep, systems design, and all transactional operations. You’ll be our first dedicated accounting hire, expected to build the foundation for scale, run a tight close, select/implement an ERP (e.g., NetSuite), and drive operational improvements across the business.
What You’ll Deliver
5-day, audit-ready monthly close
A successful migration from QuickBooks to ERP (e.g., NetSuite)
Accurate GL, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
Proactive billing, collections, and payables processes
Documentation, controls, and processes that scale
Preparation for audit readiness
Help Jump stay the category leader, trusted and loved by customers
Help build Jump into a career-making, exceptional place to work
About You
You want to have real impact helping to build an early-stage AI software company serving financial advisors and other financial services
You understand what it means to work at a very early stage tech company and are super excited about the related opportunities and challenges
6–10 years of experience, ideally including Big 4 audit + SaaS accounting
You have implemented (or materially led) a NetSuite/ERP rollout
Can work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
Clear, concise written communicator
What You’ve Done
Has passed or is eligible to sit for the CPA exam, or has equivalent foundation in GAAP and audit rigor (e.g., Big 4 assurance experience)
Managed the full close and reporting cycle
Experience with high-volume SMB billing environments
Owned or led ERP system migrations
Preferred: NetSuite specific experience; experience at a VC-backed SaaS company; built or prepared for a successful audit
