Event Marketing Specialist
About the Role
Jump is seeking an Events Marketing Support professional to help with the execution and coordination of our event strategy. In this role, you will provide essential support for both virtual and in-person events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll work closely with various teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to gather the necessary resources, manage event logistics, and contribute to the overall success of each event.
As a key part of the team, you’ll assist in planning, organizing, and optimizing events, while learning how to manage the end-to-end process of event marketing. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow into an Event Marketing Manager role in the future.
What You’ll Do
Support the execution of Jump’s event strategy (including webinars, workshops, and conferences).
Manage event logistics, including venue coordination, vendor communication, and creating event schedules.
Help coordinate speakers, content, and event materials by working with various teams to gather resources.
Contribute to post-event tasks, including follow-up emails, data tracking, and assisting with event debriefs.
Assist in tracking event performance, including metrics such as registration, attendance, and lead generation.
Work alongside the marketing and sales teams to ensure events align with Jump’s objectives and help convert event participants into leads.
Learn and implement best practices for event marketing, helping the team improve execution.
Assist with event content creation, including emails, social media posts, and event materials.
About You
You have 5 years of experience in an event marketing or event coordination role.
You have a strong attention to detail and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
You are a team player who is eager to learn and collaborate across various departments.
You are highly organized and can juggle several tasks to meet deadlines.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate between teams and vendors.
You are comfortable using event management platforms (e.g., Zoom, Eventbrite, Google Drive, etc.).
You have a basic understanding of lead generation and ROI tracking for events.
You are excited about financial services and are eager to learn how events play a role in engaging advisors.
What You’ve Done
You have assisted with or supported the execution of events such as webinars, conferences, or workshops.
You have experience with event logistics, including managing schedules, coordinating with speakers, and vendor management.
You’ve supported a team in marketing, sales, or customer success for event-related tasks.
Preferred: Experience with financial services or SaaS marketing.
