About the Role
As Jump’s first full-time Accounting Manager, you will establish and oversee all core accounting processes, ensuring our operations and financials remain accurate and compliant. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, support our internal and external stakeholders, and help lay the groundwork for scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger & Close
Own monthly and annual close, reconcile accounts, and post journal entries.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records in accordance with GAAP.
Revenue Recognition & Billing Workflows
Handle SaaS revenue recognition (deferrals, accruals) following ASC 606.
Coordinate directly with customers and internal teams on customer billing changes and overdue invoices, ensuring accurate billing and booking in accounting and CRM systems.
Accounts Payable and Expense Management
Oversee vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements and corporate cards.
Implement best practices for expense controls and reporting.
Tax & Compliance
Manage sales and income tax compliance and filings across relevant jurisdictions.
Develop or refine internal controls
Financial Statements
Prepare and present monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to leadership.
Identify and explain key variances or trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Customer Success, Product, and other teams to align financial operations with business objectives.
Support special projects as Jump scales, ensuring timely and efficient solutions.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
5+ years of accounting experience in a SaaS or similar subscription-based environment.
Strong GAAP knowledge and proven track record in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
Mastery of QuickBooks Online and solid experience with Stripe (Salesforce or similar CRM and experience with FP&A tools like Runway is preferred).
Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
Experience managing sales tax compliance and multi-jurisdiction registrations and filings for income tax
Available to work at least 4 days per week in person in Draper, UT
Compensation
Salary Range: $90k – $120k (DOE)
